Hours

Knit Happens is open every day EXCEPT Mondays.  Our hours are:

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday -- 10.30am - 7pm
Wednesday -- 10.30am - 9pm
Sunday -- 12.00pm - 5pm

The N. Washington Street shop phone is 703-836-0039.  Please note that most of the staff at the retail store do not work at the online store, and therefore can't handle online store order questions. However, if Holly is in, she can try to answer any questions that you might have.

Inclement Weather

Hmmmm... Snow days... mugs of Hot Chocolate... relaxing in your 'jammies... knitting on your latest sweater - wait! You don't have enough yarn to last you an hour, much less all day! What to do? Will Knit Happens be open?

Rest assured, Knit Happens will definitely try to be open as long as the weather permits. If the roads are clear, we'll have someone here. If the roads aren't clear, or if it's just too dangerous for us to make it in, we'll update on the mini-blog as well as on our answering machine that we'll be closed and when we expect to open.

If the weather changes while we're already open, we'll make the decision on an hour-by-hour basis. As long as the roads are okay and the snow/rain (as in hurricanes) isn't hampering visibility, we'll be here. If we see it start to change, we'll make the decision to close. Our aim will be to stay open for as long as safely possible. We will have a sign posted on the door and will update the mini-blog and answering machine to reflect this.

If you're unsure, give us a call! If you've got a question you need answered while we're closed, send Aimee or Holly an email - we'll make sure to take care of it first thing when we open. :)

If a class is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will make every effort to reschedule the class. If that can't be done, we will issue a full refund.
